A long time ago, in the faraway land, of Louisiana, an old upright piano was delivered to our home. No one MADE us take piano lessons, but there were always two of us four siblings studying music for the next 20 years. I can’t say the exact time or place that I was consumed by the instrument and it’s music---t just seemed to be a part of my soul from the moment I sat down at the piano. It was a big ol’ black piano, but it played everything from “Putt-Putt the magic speedboat” To Chopin’s “Polonaise in A flat Major." In between, it played the sweet music of my faith. |
