Grainger was born too late in life...He is from a different era! But, for that to happen now would mean he would be well into 80’s, and unable to do the things he does on stage. Grainger grew up (sort of) in Ft. Worth, but spent much of his youth in Salado and Prairie Dell, where his grandparents had a farm. At an early age, he developed a love for good, old-fashioned slapstick comedy, which he gradually discovered to be his calling. He attended Duke University, where he received a BA in English literature, after which he attended Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and toured with the Greatest Show on Earth for four years as a circus clown.
